Kittelberger Florist & Gifts is always looking for ways to get flowers into the hands of as many people as possible, that’s why we do what we do. And usually, that’s enough to satisfy our desire to see people exchanging bouquets of roses or gifting their loved ones, co-workers, friends and themselves with that gorgeous orchid or a fresh bunch of tulips. Other times, however, we just want to get out and do something about it. And last November, we did.

We braved winter’s chill, put on our boots and hats, piled in the van and set about bringing flowers to the people of Rochester. It was Thanksgiving and spirits were high; that feeling of generosity and gratitude was all the pretext we needed to round up the troops and gather some bouquets for distributing.

We loved handing over surprise flowers to our community as a way to give back. You can see the looks on their faces. And that’s the power of the flower; the ability to turn any moment, no matter how ordinary, into a memorable occasion.
